We're not a general remodeler who also does bathrooms. Conversions and full bathrooms are the whole business, which is why we're quick at them.
The tub nobody uses becomes a shower you'll use every day. We pull the old tub, fit a moulded base and solid wall panels, and set new valves, trim and a door — most of it done between breakfast and dinner.

We don't do tile. That's deliberate, not a gap. Tile and grout are what turn a two-day job into a three-week one, and grout is the thing that cracks, stains and needs re-sealing later. Our showers go in as solid panels and a moulded base — fewer seams, nothing porous, and you get your bathroom back this week.
Grout cracks, stains, holds mildew and wants re-sealing every year or two. Take the grout out of the equation and most of what goes wrong with a shower simply doesn't.
The base is moulded in one piece with the drain and the slope already in it. The walls go on as large solid panels sealed at the corners. Non-porous, so mildew has nothing to get into — and cleaning it is a wipe-down, not a Saturday with a brush.
We order everything before we start, so demo day and install day are the same week. For a conversion that usually means the tub leaves in the morning and the shower is standing by the time we pack up — the next day at the latest.

It depends mostly on four things: the size of the opening, whether the drain has to move, the shower system and door you choose, and whether there's damage behind the tub that needs putting right first.
We won't quote a range on a website, because a number that's wrong for your bathroom helps nobody. The in-home estimate is free, takes about an hour, and you leave with a written line-item price that doesn't change unless you change the scope.
No — and that's a good part of why a conversion moves so fast. We're replacing what's already there rather than changing the room: the drain and the water supply stay exactly where they are, no walls move, and no new circuits get run.
A like-for-like replacement of this kind doesn't normally need one, so there's no application to file, no fee, and no waiting on an inspector's calendar. Requirements do vary between towns, so we check what yours asks for before we quote — and on the rare job that does need a permit, we tell you at the estimate and handle it ourselves.
This is exactly what a conversion is good for. On a 2-day-or-less job you're typically without a shower for a single night, and we can usually leave the toilet and sink usable throughout.
